Michaela Lamb ACA - Client Services Partner (Tax)

Michaela joined the Everett Group in 2002, spent her training contract with us and qualified in November 2005.

From an early stage it was clear to Michaela that Audit and Compliance were not for her and she was seconded to the tax team in early 2005. Michaela thrived in this tax based environment and she worked directly for our senior Tax Director becoming an invaluable part of the tax team, quickly learning from the master and passing her ATT tax exams in November 2006. She developed her role into becoming Tax Team Manager taking more responsibility for managing the tax team and dealing directly with clients. Following the sad and unexpected death of the Senior Tax Director in late 2010, Michaela was appointed to partner in March 2011 and now has full responsibility for the all the Group's tax matters, both compliance and advisory.

Michaela is also responsible for staff training and development within the tax team and also recruitment and client development. As well as dealing with all aspects of the Group’s tax requirements, Michaela is also responsible for a very large group of companies for whom we deal with tax compliance and related accounting matters. In this way Michaela maintains her involvement with accounting at the same time as developing her specialist skills in taxation.

Michaela is dedicated to the Group and works long hours when necessary but any spare time that she has is spent mainly keeping fit in the gym. She also finds time to enjoy dressmaking and learning to ballroom dance.
